Class, Unit 4, City Solutions

 By Nate Feldman Urban = related to cities, opposite of rural = related to farmland Dense = filled with a lot of something; little space between things Growth = getting bigger in size Suburbs = areas outside of a city that are surrounding it Productive = useful; gets the job done Ex. I hope this activity is productive for you.   Income = money you make from your job Low-income = don’t make a lot of money; poor High-income = make a lot of money; rich Medium-income = middle with money Aspect = a part of something Ex. My favorite aspect of ELS are the activities.   Tend to = for the most part; not entirely, but more yes than no Ex. The students tend to come late = they come late more often than early A concentration (of something): a lot of something in one area   *Do you prefer rural or urban areas?   Why?   *What cities have you been to that are dense?   *Where have you seen population growth in recent years?
