RW Class, Using Past Tense and reasons and results with because and so
By Nate Feldman Last weekend was very nice because I did many great things . I went to Virginia. In Virginia, I saw Samantha. We ate lunch at an Indian restaurant . The food was very delicious . After lunch, we went to a park. We played mini-golf and hit in a batting cage . I went back to Pennsylvania that night. On Sunday, I played in a softball game in Philadelphia. It was a good game because my team won ! After the game, I went to an open mic event. I played music on the piano and sang songs for people. On Sunday, my children returned to my house from New York. Then, they began their new school year . It was a really fun and special week. Because = reason So = result I am a teacher (result) because I like to teach languages (reason). I studied Arabic (reason), so I can speak some of this language (result).
